STEP 3: look into how to design my card (using Photoshop, using a online template from a print service)
3. Write a script **PROGRESS**
I was nervous about losing momentum, so I just keep writing a little bit for about 10 days. I'm now up to about 30 pages. I haven't moved through enough of the plot in those 30 pages and I'm fast approaching the part of the story where I don't know what happens, so I've taken a breather to figure that out. I have reached some solid clarity about what the story is about and who the characters are, but I need to spend some time developing the specifics of what is happening in the world of my story that is creating adversity for my protagonist. I need to carve out a bunch of hours to focus on this and dive in.
STEP 4a: Do a complete outline of the plot points.
STEP 4b: Get out my screenwriting books again with this story to help structure the story
4. Publish a poem

STEP 2: Determine how much I am willing to spend.
STEP 3: Select 2-3 things I would like to attempt to get altered (in case 1-2 alterations are not possible)
11. Take a fitness class **PROGRESS**
I have officially gone to 11 classes: 1 Yoga, 4 Zumba and 6 Balletone. So I've done 4 classes of two of the topics. I'm slowly getting less terrible at zumba and for both zumba and balletone I really appreciate when the instructors change up the routines. I also looked up some zumba steps on youtube to get a better handle on some of the sections that I was really struggling with.
I would still like to make a special effort to go to yoga more, even though I prefer the dance-based classes more.
I also want to figure out more ways to do some stretching and exercises at home, because sometimes I just don't have the opportunity to make it to classes.
STEP 4: Return to each of the classes at least 4 times.
STEP 5: Discover ways to continue staying fit at home on days classes are not held.
12. Read at least 4 of these feminist books:
Lean In, Reverence to Rape, A Room of One's Own, The Second Sex, The Beauty Myth, MaddAddam, The Feminine Mystique, Bad Feminist
No progress. I am doing some serious procrastination on this. I have in fact been reading a lot more but just not any of the things on this list. I struggle to get through non-fiction quickly. But I've been reading more magazines, blogs and online articles, and I've even started reading a book called Flappers, which is related to feminism in many ways I think, and is very interesting. I think I find it easier to read because it's essentially 6 shorter biographies, which have a clearer narrative structure than a more theoretical and empirical non-fiction book.
STEP 1: Pick a book to start with.
STEP 2: Acquire book.
STEP 3: Read book.
STEP 4: Finish book.
STEP 5: Pick next book to read.
13. Organize something for Directed By Women--- a global viewing party happening in Sept 2015. No progress.

STEP 4: Modify expectations or price range.
STEP 5: Choose a vendor.
16. Keep to a blogging schedule No progress. UGH REALLY NEED TO GET ON THIS
STEP 1: Come up with a blogging schedule.
STEP 2: Try to stick to it.
STEP 3: Modify schedule as I figure out what works. (Don't just abandon it!)
17. Help a friend make her film a reality. No progress. UGH REALLY NEED TO GET ON THIS TOO
STEP 2: Follow up with my friend about how the project is progressing and my thoughts on the script.
STEP 3: Educate myself on ways to get funding for the script.
18. Start learning a little web design No progress.
STEP 1: Figure out a good place to start/get advice from people who know about these things
19. Finish books I have already started: **TINY PROGRESS**
Survival of the Prettiest,
I'm trying to finish Contagious by the end of the week.
Like I said in #12, I've been reading a bunch of non-goal book things. I also finished an audiobook, The Vanishers.
STEP 1: Finish Contagious (will need to return this to the library soon)
STEP 3: Finish Survival of the Prettiest
20. Organize a Clothing Swap or Yard Sale **PROGRESS**
I still want to do a clothing swap. But I also went to a local FreeCycle event where I donated some clothes and snagged a couple things.
STEP 1: Decide in what month it would be reasonable to expect to host a swap/sale (and decided if there is enough time to prepare).
STEP 2: Ask others if they would like to help organize, attend etc.

STEP 2: Watch Virgin Suicides or Rosemary's Baby
STEP 3: Whichever I watched in Step 2, watch the another.
24. Update a YouTube channel at work **PROGRESS**
We continue to get rid of bad content. I got carte blanche from my boss to make decisions about this. I am still waiting on developing next steps and a timeline with the marketing department. I want to start making annotations and other embellishments to some of the videos.
STEP 2a: Develop timeline for eliminating bad content.
STEP 3: Reorganize existing content and develop protocol for new content.
STEP 4: Follow up with partners on two new playlist ideas I have.
25. TBD I can't decide on another goal yet! I think I might leave this for my New Year's Resolution.
26. Private health-related goal. No progress.
I want to take a moment to mention that I've been watching a lot more Netflix/Hulu than I had been last month. I think that is a bit of a step backwards. Although some of it was watching cool movies, documentaries etc. I've been wanting to watch, many hours were also just vegging and avoidance. That is precious time that I could have spent doing something equally as relaxing but more fulfilling and in tune with my personal goals. It's also a bad habit I use to avoid dealing with things that make me frustrated, afraid, or unhappy. So it's not helpful in resolving those problems either.
Score: Progress on 8 of 25 goals.
You are totally getting more done than I am on my stupid manuscript. Writer's Block, oh how I HATE YOU!
